WHY MUST THE MEDIATOR ALSO BE TRUE GOD?
- So that the mediator, by the power of His divinity,
- might bear the weight of God's wrath on His humanity
- and earn for us and restore to us righteousness and life.

- in His hands.
- by His anguish,
- He will be satisfied.
- And because of His experience,

- for many to be counted righteous,
- for He will bear their sins.
