A Clearly-Written Epistle
I want to be a useful Christian.
The world knows little of Christ beyond what it sees of Him in His people. Oh! what a plain, clearly-written epistle I ought to be!
As a hopeful growing believer I should be a walking sermon. All the week round I should be showing to all what grace can do.
I should do good by my life, and after death what great broad evidences I should leave behind me. I want to be carried to the grave without one unpleasant doubt.
Oh! the value and the power of a growing Christian! The Lord make you and me such!
