A Winning Walk of Life
- that we ourselves may be assured of our faith by its fruits,
- and that by our godly walk of life we may win our neighbors for Christ.
For the Bible Tells Me So...
Matthew 7:17-18
- Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
- A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
- gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
- And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
- Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
- for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
- Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
- For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
- Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
- having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
- Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,
- when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.
