Where Is Jesus and What Is He Doing?
Christ Jesus, who sits at God's right hand and from there rules over the universe, is preparing all things for His return as Judge and Victor.
Christ ascended into heaven to manifest Himself there as Head of His Church, through whom the Father governs all things.
For the Bible Tells Me So...
Ephesians 1:20-23
- …which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
- far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
- And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
- which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
The glory of Christ my Head benefits me in two ways.
- First, by His Holy Spirit He pours out heavenly gifts upon me, His member.
- Second, by His power He defends and preserves me against all enemies.

Acts 2:33 Therefore being exalted to the right
hand of God, and having received from the Father
the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this
which you now see and hear.
- John 10:27-30 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
- And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
- My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
- I and My Father are one.”
What a comfort it is to me that Christ will come to judge the living and the dead.
- In all my sorrow and persecution I lift up my head and eagerly await as judge from heaven the very same person who before has submitted Himself to the judgment of God for my sake; and has removed all the curse from me.
- He will cast all His and my enemies into everlasting condemnation, but He will take me and all His chosen ones to Himself into heavenly joy and glory.

1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
- For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
- Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
